Azamat Dzebisati
Design Systems Engineer · Based in Cyprus
Frontend Engineer with 7+ years of experience, currently at Muse Group. I specialize in design systems, scalable component architecture, and the intersection where design intent meets engineering implementation.
My work focuses on building shared UI foundations — token architectures, component primitives, documentation systems, and governance models — that help teams ship faster without sacrificing consistency or quality.
Current Focus
- Design systems as a platform: tokens, components, documentation, and governance as a unified product
- Cross-platform foundations: shared primitives across web and mobile from a single token source
- Quality at scale: accessibility, visual regression, and interaction testing as CI release gates
- Developer experience: making the right component choice the easy one through documentation and tooling
- AI agentic workflows: integrating AI-driven automation for component building, visual testing (Chromatic), unit test generation, validation, and product UI generation from DS primitives
How I Work
I work at the boundary between design and engineering. The most valuable systems I've built came from understanding both sides — what designers need from components and what engineers need from APIs.
I prefer incremental approaches over rewrites, measurable outcomes over broad claims, and governed flexibility over rigid enforcement. Good design systems make the right thing easy without making the wrong thing impossible.
